Cypress USB Mass Storage Driver

Version 4.4 of DUSE.EXE now supports USB 2.0

This universal device driver will work with USB Zip Drives, Hard Drives, CD-ROM drives, floppy drives and MO (Magneto-Optical) drives.

I was actually able to read the contents of my USB CD-RW disk with this driver. Read the instructions included with the package.

The Cypress USB Stack driver for DOS (duse_4_4.exe):

In FreeDOS (kernel.sys 2032a and command.com 0.82 pl 2) it raises a kernel panic. In DOS 7.x (from Windows 9x) it seems to load correctly, but afterwards any access to drives raises a "can't read" error.

In various newsgroups it is suggested that it will only work if you can boot from USB mass storage.
